the sx10s 'entrepreneur' was a 4+10 switch which acted as a hybrid pabx/key system using ld/mf earth loop recall telephones and/or superset 2 terminals

the sx10 was an 8+24 switch using ld/mf earth loop recall telephones

 note the blf which worked as a console in conjunction with a standard telephone

 


sx10e

 

the sx10e was an 8+32 switch using ld/mf earth loop recall telephones

 it could have a blf or console 

it would also drive the superset 4 terminal

marketed by BT as the kinsman, the sx20 was capable of a variety of configurations based upon loaded cards: typical max would be 8+72 or 12+48 

it used ld/mf earth loop recall telephones and/or superset 4 aka bt merlin tx14 terminals

 it could have a blf and / or a console 

many still exist in hotels, using meter pulse detection
