Call Management means effective monitoring of system use [eg numbers dialled & by whom; how incoming calls are answered and where they are sent to; call costing etc.]

 

The KXTD offers an interface [V24] for programming and management.

Using this interface it is possible to fit a simple device such as a printer or pc using hyperterminal or procomm to collect simple unmanaged data.

This offers the cheapest way of collecting data but only gives, as-it-happens, raw data [eg extension number; what dialled, duration].

SJG Panabill for the Panasonic kxtd, exists in two versions:

SJG Panabill Hotel: enables billing of calls to guests and additional charging such as for mini bar use

SJG Panabill Business: enables departmental reporting of calls, call costing and system usage
